Hey all. Great to be here! My name is Mphatso Phiri. I’m a medical doctor and an infectious disease researcher. My disease interests are tuberculosis, malaria and HIV. I obtained an MSc in Epidemiology at LSHTM and currently pursuing a PhD in transmission modelling at LSTM.

I’ve read a couple of papers from Sam Abott and colleagues on SARS-CoV-2 forecasting while working on modelling the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic modelling. Great to finally meet Sam at LSHTM a couple of weeks ago. Enjoyed discussing how we could collaborate and finally push the SARS-CoV-2 paper a couple of colleagues and I have been conceptualising. Looking forward to learning from you all
