Community Seminar 2023-10-04 - Billy Quilty - Daily rapid testing in contact tracing for Covid-19: From models to trials to policy in the UK

Today at 2pm UK time we have Billy Quilty talking about “Daily rapid testing in contact tracing for Covid-19: From models to trials to policy in the UK”.

More here: Epinowcast - Billy Quilty - Daily rapid testing in contact tracing for Covid-19: From models to trials to policy in the UK

We have heard from a few people that current timing doesn’t work for them. If that is so could you post here and we will think about moving the seminar. If we move it one hour later would that work better for most people? The only potential issue I see with that is for those with childcare responsibilities?

From next month @kcharniga2 will be joining to help organise these seminars and we will be finally posting recordings as previously promised to our youtube channel.

Connect to the seminar

You can sign up for our event calendar here: Google calendar

Or here for non-Google calendar users: ICAL link

Or just join the event directly itself here: https://lshtm.zoom.us/j/8290218109

Further, in favour of switching times, I see that the JUNIPER consortium has moved their seminar into the same slot so there is an overlap.

Video of today’s talk is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq9NnDw0vOg

So to deal with the scheduling issues I am going to propose we move to 3pm UK time on the first Wednesday of the month. React to this post with how you feel about that. I will update the calendar if response is generally positive.
